Jennifer is a Costumier and Costume Standby/Assistant who graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Costume from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). This heavily practical course has covered a wide range of technical skills as well as hands-on experience in bringing 15 productions to the stage from the disciplines of acting, musical theatre, opera and dance.

During her enrolment Jennifer studied all aspects of Costume construction including millinery, art finishing, corsetry, dancewear (stretch wear and tutus), historical costume construction, pattern drafting and tailoring, as well as taking leadership roles in stage productions as costume supervisor, head cutter, dressing supervisor and costume specialist.
​
Jennifer has also had the opportunity to work on several film projects whilst undergoing her studies: 6 short films in collaboration with the WA Screen Academy, and with various local production companies: an independent short film; two episodes of a webseries; and a feature film. These have involved a number of different on-set roles including Costume Assistant, Standby, Supervisor, and Designer. She has also completed a professional Costume Attachment on an industry feature film.

Most recently Jennifer completed filming on a ScreenWest Elevate 70 Initiative short film Spirit of Happiness (dir. Kelli Cross) as Costume Designer and Standby.

Jennifer's other qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English, and a Diploma of Professional Practice Management.
